Hi, since I do not have obex.py, can you provide an exact command line that produces this problem. Please also state name and model of your mobile phone.
Please also try the most current obexftp version from my private repository at http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~ubq7/debian/ Maybe that version already fixes this bug.
