I've experienced an annoying bug with gnome-terminal since ~ 2.14.0. When I open a new tab, applications that do "fullscreen" display (like less, mutt,...) are not properly displayed, see a screenshot at: <http://arch.pybliographer.org/~fred/gnome-terminal-bug.png> This is easily fixed by resizing the window, but will rehappen for every new tab. Note that this only happens when the terminal has been resized after its opening. It looks as if the new tab believes it still has the size of the initial window, before resizing.
