Please do not create a new repo for working on a package that already has a Vcs repo. Instead, fork it, work on it and when this RFS is sponsored, the sponsor will take back the changes to the original repo and maybe grant you access to it. So please recreate your repo as a fork and reapply your changes on it. Please untag moreinfo when you are done with that.
