that's ok from my side, but we'll need permission from michael elkins and a few others as well. at least it should be easier than with mutt ...

i'd go with a general exception for libraries with advertizing clauses.
i wonder if there is legal precedent for inferring such a will from the existing exception?

4) Port to gsasl or another compatible SASL implementation.
