Dear Debian LXQt maintainers,

I intend on updating the entire LXQt stack to the latest version on June 30, 2022 (this is when I plan on uploading to Sid).

The entire stack builds, installs, and works in the Ubuntu development release. I would like to completely eliminate the vast majority of Ubuntu deltas.

I am a member of the packaging team on Salsa and intend on using existing processes (and doing a team upload), but if the existing maintainers would like to go the path of allowing the Lubuntu Team to maintain these packages in Debian, say the word and we can downstream packaging.

If you object to this, please respond before the aforementioned date. (As soon as I figure BTS out) all packages targeted will be marked as affected by this bug.

Best intents and wishes,
