Package: gitk Version: 1:2.30.2-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: jonathan.winterfl...@gmail.com
Dear Maintainer, Since upgrading to bullseye, this bug: https://public- inbox.org/git/1f6e179c-d9c3-e503-3218-0acf4ff27...@mit.edu/ severly impedes the useability of gitk: The error dialog blocks further interaction with gitk until it is dismissed. When resizing the window horizontally, the error pops up. When dragging the horizontal sash between top and bottom panes, the error pops up, _preventing resizing panes by more than a single pixel at a time_. It seems to only be triggered for a configuration with ‘set want_ttk 0’, which includes the popular 'dracula' dark theme https://draculatheme.com/gitk The issue is fixed upstream: https://github.com/git/git/pull/1219 I have confirmed that monkey-patching my /usr/bin/gitk also fixes the issue Neither Sid nor Experimental seem to include this fix. Coult you please consider backporting to bullseye ?
