Dear Maintainer, I started kmscube to test out whether kernel mode-setting would work on my hardware. I saw a rotating textured cube (so KMS works), but there was no way to exit kmscube. Among other things, I tried ESC, SPC and CTRL + C, but none of those exited kmscube. I then tried to switch to another TTY to log in and kill kmscube. This did not work. It seems that all keyboard inputs i tried were deferred until after kmscube exits. I expected shortcuts like CTRL + ALT + F2 to always get me to TTY2 immediately. I also expected kmscube to exit upon a keypress, mouse click, or after a time. To reproduce this issue: 1. Execute ”timeout 10 kmscube” in TTY1. 2. Press CTRL + ALT + F2 as soon as you see a rotating cube. 3. Wait 10 seconds. 4. Verify that the display only switches to TTY2 after kmscube exits. -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (900, 'stable'), (500, 'oldoldstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-10-686 (SMP w/2 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages kmscube depends on: ii libc6 2.31-13+deb11u3 ii libdrm2 2.4.104-1 ii libegl1 1.3.2-1 ii libgbm1 20.3.5-1 ii libgles2 1.3.2-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.66.8-1 ii libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-0 1.18.4-2 ii libgstreamer1.0-0 1.18.4-2.1 ii libpng16-16 1.6.37-3 kmscube recommends no packages. kmscube suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
