With k3b and libk3b2 both at 0.12.15-2, the same problem persists. Also, the setting "do not eject CD after write" (Settings | Configure k3b | Writing | Advanced) is not being honored. Either that, or the verification option (on the dialogue when I request a burn) always ejects the disk first. This time, I got not system window popping up when the dvd went back in (though I was connected remotely, so perhaps the notification window got lost). I also notice that the diff of the dvd against the original files is quite slow, taking perhaps 1/2 hour. I'm not sure if that's normal, or it's a sign of some problems with the dvd that are causing lots of retries. There are no signs of such a problem in the logs.
