Hi all,

This bug is still present in debian testing.
But here is a new information:

After a fresh reboot and log in in xfce there is low hdd (a fast ssd!) activity for few seconds.

If one starts libreoffice-writer or firefox-esr or thunderbird then there is a long hdd activity for more then 20seconds at first time!
After that the load time and hdd activity is much shorter!

Example1:

1. reboot

2. start thunderbird (takes more then 20seconds) and quit thunderbird

3. start libreoffice (starts in less then 2 seconds)

Example2:

1. reboot

2. start libreoffice (takes more then 20seconds) and quit libreoffice

3. start libreoffice (starts in less then 2 seconds)

Example3:

1. reboot

2. start firefox (takes more then 20seconds) and quit firefox

3. start libreoffice (starts in less then 2 seconds)

It looks like, that firefox/thunderbird are loading stuff that is also needed by libreoffice. This is very strange. There seems to be a huge amount of memory usage!(20 seconds read with a fast ssd)

best regards

Reiner
