Hello, This is something that I've spoken to the EFF about before. At the time, they weren't willing to officially sign off on the distros' packages because they were worried about the additional support burden. That being said, I think things have been stable for a long period of time now and the overall velocity of feature releases has slowed down, so I will approach them again. Thank you for the prompt!
