This is a PDL interface to version 3 of the FFTW library. It is similar
to the standard FFT routine but usually much faster and it supports
complex <-> complex and real <-> complex FFTs.
PDL::FFTW used to be part of the standard PDL distribution but the days
of FFTW v2.x are long gone, also in Debian's repositories. As PDL::FFTW3
interfaces the successor which is verion 3 of the FFTW library, it would
be possible and really great to have FFTW back for use with PDL.
