This is strange. kbd should have stopped shipping /bin/open since kbd 2.0.4-4 (from 2018, cf. https://bugs.debian.org/732796). Is /bin/open a symlink to openvt on your system? The current kbd package (kbd_2.3.0-3_amd64.deb) also doesn't ship /bin/open. Ansgar
