Umh. Personally I don't care at all about which license to use for my work.
And while quite some code in debian/ is written by me, it is based on prior
work there, and not everything is mine. Patches are mine though.

Thanks, but GPL-2 has the same problem in this context as GPL-3+, i.e.,
it does not allow any additional requirements on code combined with it.

Of the already existing licenses in d/copyright I would suggest ISC.
