Bug#366771: cups access log has constant messages

Package: cupsys
Version: 1.1.23-12

I am getting this message in my /var/cups/access_log every 5 seconds: 
"POST / HTTP/1.1" 200 75

The log file is getting huge.

I am using an up to date Debian Etch install and sharing my HP DeskJet 
970C to a local network.
