I miss an icon for easily identifying PDF files. As far as I can see, currently the Tango Icon Theme does not contain a proper/true file for PDF documents, just a soft link to generic SVG file which makes difficult to distinguish between plain text or document files from PDF. sm01@stt008:~$ ls -la /usr/share/icons/Tango/scalable/mimetypes/ | grep pdf lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 ago 12 2020 gnome-mime-application-pdf.svg -> x-office-document.svg PDFs deserve a REAL icon! :-) A good candidate can be Nuvola icon from old Gnome Themes Extra¹ which looks and renders pretty nice². ¹https://download.gnome.org/sources/gnome-themes-extras/0.9/ ²https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Gnome-mime-application-pdf.svg P.S.
