Package: gaim Version: 1:1.5.0+1.5.1cvs20051015-3 Severity: normal I noticed that a while after I change my privacy settings for AIM/ICQ to "Allow only the users on my buddy list" gaim resets it to "Block only the users below". This is bad for two reasons: 1) the users that are listed there are known to me, and I do _not_ want to block them, 2) I am flooded with requests for authorizations from people I do not know and who, according to what little user info they provide, are just spammers.
BTW, I usually set my online status to "invisible" but I want some select people on my buddy list to see me even when I'm invisible. I thought this could be done with adding them to the list in privacy settings. However, I'm not sure any longer that this is the right way to do it.
