the reason why this problem does not occure in Ubuntu is, that Ubuntu drains from Debian unstable. The problem was fixed in: libdeflate (1.9-1) unstable; urgency=medium * Team upload. * New upstream version * Add missing build dependency on dh addon. * Install pkgconfig file -- Andreas Tille <[email protected]> Wed, 19 Jan 2022 17:10:52 +0100 Thus I mark this bug as fixed in version 1.9. I'm also closing this bug since it is closed in Debian testing / unstable. Since this bug is not critical for system security I can not fix it in Debian stable.
