Dear Paul,

The issue with libnewuoa and libpdb-redo is solved in the new version of libpdb-redo that is waiting in experimental.

And libpdb-redo is coupled to libcifpp which is also waiting in experimental, hoping it will get a slot to move into testing.

Perhaps the bug in libnewuoa should be reassigned to libpdb-redo?

regards,

-maarten

Dear maintainer(s),

With a recent upload of libnewuoa the autopkgtest of libpdb-redo fails in testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of libnewuoa from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from testing. In tabular form:

                       pass            fail
libnewuoa              from testing    0.1.2-1
libpdb-redo            from testing    2.0.3-1
all others             from testing    from testing

I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report.

Currently this regression is blocking the migration of libnewuoa to testing [1]. Due to the nature of this issue, I filed this bug report against both packages. Can you please investigate the situation and reassign the bug to the right package?
