Firefox looks for some standard libraries (libnss3, libnssutil3, libsmime3,
libssl3) in /usr/lib/firefox
Launching firefox fails with (here when missing libsmime3):
XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib/firefox/libsmime3.so:
/usr/lib/firefox/libsmime3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
Couldn't load XPCOM.
Workaround: add symbolic link one after the other in /usr/lib/firefox to
relevant /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/
cd /usr/lib/firefox
ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libssl3.so .
