I see, thanks for your input. Ok, then this should be fixed in 2.4 series (cd5d1be8f8925) as org.lyx.LyX.metainfo.xml will be installed in /usr/share/metainfo/. For 2.3.x series appdata.xml is inside tarball but not installed. Tobias, 2.3.7 should be out within two weeks and I leave it to you whether manually fix it for bookworm's 2.3.7 or leave it for 2.4 which won't make it for the upcoming debian release. Pavel
