gdm to the xsession scripts? Only LANG?

But (ok, I am stupid), I want to have
        LANG=C
        [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Or is there a simpler way to have everything in english AND being able
to use àòèéùöüßä etc etc etc which I have to use daily?
(I hate stupid german translation ;-)

Or can I do
        [EMAIL PROTECTED]
??? Wouldbe nice, but I think this doesn't work.

Best wishes

Norbert
