Unfortunately I'm not able to reproduce any of those two bugs (using
dblatex 0.1.9-1 and the same versions of its dependencies as you), and
I'm quite confused about the output of your dblatex run:

> XSLT stylesheets DocBook - LaTeX 2e (0.1.8)

Two items on my output:
1) The warning is missing as expected (/usr/bin/dblatex, line 4):

2) The version string in the head line properly reflects the package's
version as expected
(/usr/share/xml/docbook/stylesheet/dblatex/xsl/version.xsl, line 8):

Thus your and my system seem to use different files when calling
dblatex. One possible reason: You have called an old, native version of
dblatex, not the Debian package. Could you check this?
If you are actually calling the Debian version, it would be helpful to
compare your with my installation. Would you please send me tarballs
of:
- /etc/dblatex/
- /usr/share/xml/docbook/stylesheet/dblatex/
- /bin/dblatex
in this case? Thank you.
