I confirm it works when removing the <.
I don't understand where the \n comes from. I don't have it in my source text.

Note that the text is always considered as English when I edit the instructions. Even if I set the language to French (right click on the text > Langages > Français (France) and save the text. Maybe related to this issue?

two < the text is saved.
