Package: gnome-commander Version: 1.14.3-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: f...@floriankolter.de
Dear Maintainers, opening the options dialog works only the very first time. If it is not the initial start of gnome-commander, every further attempt to open Settings / Options... (or press Ctrl+O) results in a segmentation fault. The window is gone and the command line does not show more information than 'Segmentation fault'. I don't know what the exact cause is but I just stumbled over these initial configuration thing. So the trigger must be somewhere there. After first start and exit of gnome-commander you can review the (unmodified) initial settings: $ dump /org/gnome/gnome-commander/ > dconf_settings_initial.ini You can get it working again (one time only) by: $ dconf reset -f /org/gnome/gnome-commander/ (I've had this bug in unstable for weeks. Now I installed bookworm and was momentarily happy to be able to modify the options again. Until I tried it a second time...)
