Its implementation relies solely on a super block stored at LBA 0 of the device. On mount, zonefs uses zone configuration information obtained directly from the device to populate the mount point with files representing the device zones.
The kernel support for this package is already enabled . I am a part of ZonedStorage team, I do have an interest in building / maintaining this package. Other members of our team maintain this package for OpenSuse and Fedora. Debian would be in my area of responsibility It would be nice if this package was available for those users who prefer Debian as their platform. Otherwise they need to compile from source to use the tools. Thank you, Tommy McGee
