I discovered this too a few days ago, and it is actually a bug in appstream, according to the appstream maintainer. The fix has been found in <URL: https://github.com/ximion/appstream/commit/631303a8d16c2f608428a89bb94511bc28ae5417 > and I eagerly await a fixed version in Debian. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
