Package: libspng-dev Version: 0.7.3-1 Severity: serious Tags: patch Hi Andrea!
While trying to build against the new libspng-dev, I found that even my build was issuing -lspng, it would fail because it could not find it. It turns out you're missing a dependency against libspng0 itself. Patch attached for that. Additionally, I've seen the following too: - spng.pc declares: Requires.private: zlib If I understand correctly, this is not a public dependency, which means libspng-dev does not need to depend on zlib-dev. In fact, that's one of the features SPNG advertises. - I would downgrade the Recommends on libspng-doc to a Suggests, to avoid pulling in fonts and other unneeded packages on the 95% of cases.
