thank you for reporting this and sorry for the inconvenience. Given that the bug is 7 years old, I guess you fixed that system (if it still exists) in the meantime. As nobody else submitted similar bugs like that, I must assume that it was a "one off"-thing specific to your setup, or, most likely a corner case probably fixed in any of the newer mdadm/kernel versions since and thus closing the bug.
