Apologies Helmut, I was blindly assuming that dh_autoreconf would have dealt with the generation... But it turns out that I don't use it for this package (at some point in the past it was using a patched autoconf which wasn't packaged for Debian). I'll upload a new version shortly with the configure change. --bod
