Package: aide-common
Version: 0.18.1-2
Severity: wishlist
X-Debbugs-Cc: kjo...@poczta.onet.pl

Recently aide started to send mails not by sendmail command but by connecting
to port 25 on localhost, using s-nail.
As I can see user (root) sending mail is hardcoded in
/usr/share/aide/bin/dailyaidecheck
these changes makes filtering mails quite fragile. It would be nice to have for
example
custom header describes that this is the mail from aide on host
say
X-Aide: $hostname
or sth.
