Package: bluez Version: 5.66-1 Followup-For: Bug #863603 X-Debbugs-Cc: flavio.amie...@gmail.com
Dear Maintainer, After an update in testing a few weeks ago (I'm sorry, I can't remember exaclty the date) A2DP stopped working completely on my system. All my bluetooth speakers/headsets connect properly, but a2dp audio profiles are not available (for example, blueman's "audio profile" context menu doesn't even show submenu). I tried both workarounds described in [1] for the previously mentioned #805414, but none of them worked. Also, this worked fine up until a couple of weeks ago. The only way I am able to send audio to the speakers is if I explicitly set the profile with aplay (`aplay -D bluealsa:PROFILE=a2dp /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Left.wav`), which switches the audio output to the speakers after some time. This does not work for speaker-tests, though (`speaker-test -D bluealsa:PROFILE=a2dp`). If you need any more information, please let me know and I will post it. Thank you very much.
