do you think it makes sense, if I reassign the bug report to
ruby-soap4r?

The circumstantial evidence collected during the investigation that you
and Vincent have carried out seems to suggest that the issue is
probably due to ruby-soap4r, although we do not have conclusive
evidence...

Having the bug report reassigned to ruby-soap4r may serve as a reminder
to try to update the Debian package to a more active (or a less-long
abandoned!) fork of soap4r. Not now, of course, but after bookworm
has been released.

Please let me know if you agree with this plan.
