Package: xfce4
Version: 4.18
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I did a fresh installation of testing (bookworm), and installed XFCE as
desktop.
Installation went fine without any problems.

Logging into the XFCE user session works fine too.

Then I wanted to file an installation-report with reportbug, that failed in
the first attempt with

"The MTA /usr/sbin/sendmail is not available; exiting."

This is indeed correct, sendmail is not installed, and exim or postfix are not
installed as well.
I guess this is not a good default for a new system?
Or is this expected?

Feel free to ask, if you need more information or tests.

Holger
