Hello, The latest released version of docbook-xsl (1.70.0) improved the handling of the literallayout element. Can you have a look at the attached file, which results from the latest stylesheets, if it fits your requirements? I also attached the source XML I used to reproduce your code. Please send me short feedback, if I misunderstood something in your example or if the resulting output doesn't fit your requirements.
