Indeed it's confusing. wlgreet packaging is taking more time than expected but should not be too far from completion. Now it's only a Suggests and not a Recommends, so it's not going to cause any harm during installation. As for the release this is way too late to change the recommendation as we're deep in the freeze and this is not severe enough for an exception. As for unstable it should not deviate from the release target so as not to block last minute fixes, therefore I'll hopefully get wlgreet finished soon and it would be solved. If I hit problems then I'll consider your suggestion.
