I tried recompiling xine-lib-1.2 with libsdl1.2-compat-dev instead of
libsdl1.2-dev, in preparation for having src:sdl12-compat take over the
libsdl1.2-dev package name.
The latest version of libsdl1.2-compat-dev pulls in libsdl2-dev and
therefore libsndio-dev, which causes xine-lib-1.2 to fail to build:

Please make the build deterministic: if you don't intend for this plugin
to be enabled, please configure with --disable-sndio, so that it never
gets enabled "automagically". Doing the same for any other intentionally
disabled plugins would be a good bit of future-proofing.
This is non-RC for now, but is likely to be raised to RC when we are ready
for src:sdl12-compat to take over the libsdl1.2-dev package name.
