Hello Joey, do you know the status of debian installer with silo? I think it would be really important to solve this problem because it's a nasty thing if the silo installation fails and you can't boot anything after installing debian. The silo -t is a secure option that would not do any harm even if silo has problems to boot the other operating system and if you want to remove silo again.
