Hello,

since the upgrade vom Debian 11 to 12 there is the problem of a hanging KDE when using Firefox. For example opening this URL https://slidealama.eu is loading the webpage and then the complete KDE is freezing including the mouse pointer.

gdb cannot be used, because you don't get any console window again.
But it is possible to login remote from another PC, so the kernel is still alive. Requesting a kill of a process or a shutdown does not work - a reset of the PC is needed.

Any ideas how to find out what is happening?

Best regards
karsten
