Here is the output I get: # dhcpcd -T wlp3s0 dhcpcd-9.4.1 starting DUID 00:04:94:6e:66:81:53:aa:11:cb:b0:9f:c5:e1:3e:11:82:a0 wlp3s0: IAID 31:5f:29:a8 wlp3s0: soliciting an IPv6 router wlp3s0: soliciting a DHCP lease wlp3s0: offered 192.168.1.119 from 192.168.1.2 interface='wlp3s0' pid='5687' protocol='dhcp' reason='TEST' ifcarrier='up' ifflags='69699' ifmetric='3003' ifmtu='1500' ifssid='linuxhotel' ifwireless='1' new_broadcast_address='192.168.1.255' new_dhcp_lease_time='1800' new_dhcp_message_type='2' new_dhcp_server_identifier='192.168.1.2' new_domain_name='linuxhotel.de' new_domain_name_servers='192.168.1.5' new_ip_address='192.168.1.119' new_network_number='192.168.1.0' new_routers='192.168.1.5' new_subnet_cidr='24' new_subnet_mask='2 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1024357 is a similar bug that has been closed upstream with https://github.com/NetworkConfiguration/dhcpcd/issues/156 and seems to have been fixed in testing or sid. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-10-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages dhcpcd-base depends on: ii adduser 3.134 ii libc6 2.36-9 ii libudev1 252.6-1 Versions of packages dhcpcd-base recommends: ii wpasupplicant 2:2.10-12 Versions of packages dhcpcd-base suggests: pn resolvconf | openresolv | systemd-resolved <none> -- no debconf information
