Package: xterm Version: 210-3 Severity: normal It's coming up as black-on-white now.
I realize that this is all sophisticated-looking, and I realize that that are arcane ways to configure this, but... We have gnome-terminal for people who don't care about compatibility with the real thing and probably hate it too. Many terminals did have a black-on-white option, but I've never seen anybody using it. No matter what the terminal (true VT100, VT101, VT102, Wyse 50/60, VT220, VT320, VT510, VT525, Linux console, Sun console) I've never seen black-on-white actually used. The apps tend to break, especially when they try to use the newer color features. Text becomes unreadable. Think cyan-on-white and yellow-on-white. Eeeew. I won't even see white-on-white. White-on-black is good.
