It seems to me that the useful and intended behavior is that if a
message is from me, my name is supressed (unless I have listed myself
as a recipient) in favor of someone elses; it isn't useful to have the
'sent' mailbox full of my name in every single message; same for the
'mbox' mailbox.

However, the intended behvariou seems broken whenever the To: field is
empty.

If one composes a message, with zero To: addresses, but nonzero Bcc:
addresses, and then postpones, and then views the list of postponed
messages (there must be more than 1), then the "to" column for the
given message is shown as "pryzbyj", which is wrong and confusing.  I
would expect to see one of:

  a blank column
  literal text such as: "[Bcc only]"
  Bcc: <bcc list here>; this is consistent with the "To: " prefix for
    the rest of the postponed messages
