If you want to try pandas with a newer version of dask, I've started working on updating dask and dask distributed for another bug, so Dask 2023.7.4 is mostly ready on salsa while I work on distributed. When I grabbed dask.distributed I got 2023.8, so I'll need to update dask again to match before releaseing. Diane
