Hi. Thanks for wrap-and-sort.

What do you think about sorting header fields in some "best" order?

To illustrate, I help maintain two projects and as you can see below
from the control file, the header fields are sorted differently. I
can't find any wrap-and-sort option to "canonicalize" the sort order. I
wish the headers was sorted the same way, and not have to modify this
manually.

Is this possible?

Of course, what the "best" order is subjective, and a whole can of worms
to settle. Personally I'd take any deterministic sort order over the
current manually maintained behaviour. How about starting with
alphabetic sort ordering, with the exception to keep 'Source:' as the
first line? Having Uploaders be on the line after Maintainer would be
another correction. I'm sure once this is implemented and invoked on
real packages some other "obvious" corrections will be discovered.

/Simon
