Package: imagemagick Version: 6:6.0.6.2-2.6 Severity: important On a pretty minimal system I did sudo aptitude install imagemagick and then received the following error from the following command:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ /usr/bin/convert -fill "#114B0E" -pointsize 30 -gravity "East" -draw "text 0,0 'HU9Kd5Ydk'" -blur 4 -rotate -5 -swirl 13 -wave 2x80 ~/foo.jpg /var/www/tikirobot/wp/glar.jpg convert: unable to read font `/usr/share/fonts/type1/gsfonts/n019003l.pfb'. The configuration file /usr/lib/ImageMagick-6.0.6/config/type.mgk refers to: <typemap> <include file="type-ghostscript.mgk" /> </typemap> And so I think the ImageMagick package should either require gsfonts, or the type.mgk file should be changed so as not to require gsfonts in order for convert to render text. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.16.13-xenU-rimu6 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages imagemagick depends on: ii libmagick6 6:6.0.6.2-2.6 Image manipulation library -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
