Dear hostname maintainer,
you can find a series of patches that update the packaging of `hostname`
to debhelper 13 and to the standard dh sequence at
https://salsa.debian.org/gioele/hostname/-/compare/debian%2Flatest...dh-13
The debian/rules files is now almost empty and the package is fully
lintian clean.
diffoscope says that the generated binary package is identical to the
current binary package (except for an ID change in the .gnu_debuglink
section of the main executable).
