I sorry that no one ever responded to your bug. I did confirm today that the documentation and behavior of lxc seems unchanged from your initial report. If this is still a concern of yours, please open a bug report on the lxc github, as that would be the appropriate place to make changes to lxc's logging behavior. If you do, we can link this bug to that report; otherwise barring any other strong reason to keep this bug open I think it can be closed as there's nothing to be done on Debian's end. Mathias
