Hello Jonathan, the icon is missing in the launcher at the bottom of the screen in GNOME. See openQA [1]. With the following two commands, the icon will be added: LAUNCHER=$(dconf read /org/gnome/shell/favorite-apps | sed -e "s|\[|['calamares-install-debian.desktop', |") dconf write /org/gnome/shell/favorite-apps "$LAUNCHER" This could be added to /usr/bin/add-calamares-desktop-icon (but might need additional checks, for non-GNOME environments.
