I just tried installing netdata to experiment with it, and I couldn't get the most basic out-of-the-box configuration to work due to this bug. Hence setting the severity to grave. I rebuilt with the allow-symlinks patch disabled and everything seemed to work, so I guess the fix may be easy enough :) (The package already has a couple more severity: serious bugs and is marked for autoremoval from testing, so it won't make a huge difference...)
