In https://github.com/ibus/ibus/issues/2150 , the ibus upstream made it clear that everything related to DConf is deprecated and should not be expected to work. End users and ibus engines are expected to use GSettings instead. As a result, marking this bug as wontfix. Thanks, Boyuan Yang
