I think it would be best for you to report these two issues directly upstream to the LXD developers (https://github.com/canonical/lxd), as there's nothing in the Debian packaging that would change behavior in regard to the two issues you reported. For the first one, remember that Debian ships the LTS release, and not the monthly feature releases. The documentation you linked to tracks the feature releases, and there may have been changes which simply aren't in the LTS branch. For the second one, I suspect the error message is coming directly from the `mkfs.btrfs` command, which is wanting a `-f` flag, not LXD itself. Perhaps that can be added to LXD, but it's something that would have to be raised upstream. I'll keep this bug open for now, but it's unlikely there's anything Debian will be able to do independent of upstream. Mathias
